Ordering and Payment
  1. Payment method: We accept most major credit / debit cards. For your security and your peace of mind, our online payment system is fully PCI complient. You may, if you wish pay by cheque or postal order. These should be made payable to The Pumpkin Patch.

    If paying by credit / debit card, please ensure that the expiriy date of your card is after the anticipated despatch date of your order. Payment will be debited from your account just before the despatch of your goods, and if your payment card has expired, we will be unable to take payment and fulfill your order.

      Internet :
      Internet orders can be made 24 hours a day - seven days a week.

      By Phone : Contact us on 01721 724 479 between 9.30am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday. When you call, you should have your order and your payment details close at hand.

      By Post : Send your completed order form with payment to us at: The Pumpkin Patch, PO Box 13803, Peebles, Tweeddale, EH45 8WX, UK. You can pay by debit / credit card, cheque or postal order if you order by post.

       
    • Delivery: We aim to despatch all orders within 3-10 days approx. depending on the time of year, but orders which contain personalised goods may take a little longer. If you are paying for an item using a cheque, we must wait for the cheque to clear before we can send your goods. If you need a particular item for a certain date, please contact us and let us know. At present, all orders are sent by Royal Mail or Parcel Force.

       
    • Delivery charges: Delivery charges are by weight - the charges are automatically calculated by the shopping cart as you add items to it.

       
    • International orders: Delivery charges outside UK are charged at cost.

       

Ordering Goods
To order goods from our secure online store, you need to select your required items from the product details page(s) on which they appear. These pages can be accessed by selecting one of our main product categories, or sub-categories displayed on the left of your screen. To place an order online, go to the product details page and then follow the steps outlined below:
  • Product Information Page: click the ’Add to basket’ button on the product information page.
  • Shopping Basket Page: After making your selections, click on the 'View Cart' button. You will be able to review and amend your order before proceeding through the checkout pages. You must tick the 'accept website Terms and Conditions' checkbox before proceeding to checkout.
  • Shipping Address page: You may select a previously provided shipping address or enter a new one.
  • Billing Page: We will then ask for details of your billing address - this MUST be the address at which your Credit/Debit card is registered - email/phone contact details must be provided so we can contact you if we need to discuss your order. Click the 'Billing to this address' button.
  • Shipping method page: Select your preferred shipping method and click 'next'
  • Payment method:  If you are paying by credit card over the internet, select the 'credit card' option and enter your details - you can also telphone us directly with your card details. 
    If you are paying by other methods, select your chosen method and click next, review the information and click 'next'. You must click 'confirm' to submit your order. 
    You will not be able to amend your order after confirming so please check all details are correct before placing your order. We will confirm receipt of your order by sending an email to you, using the email address you supplied when registering with our website. In the case of personalised or made to order items, once we have begun to make the ordered item(s)it will not be possible to cancel the order. If you change your mind about a personalised order, please contact us immediately by telephone (if you cannot reach us by phone, please also send an e-mail) we will try our utmost to intervene before manufacture commences.
